New Delhi, India: Ribal Al-Assad calls for an end to the repression in Syria in talk to India's United Services Institution

Ribal Al-Assad, the Director of the ODFS, delivered a talk calling for an end to the repression and for peaceful democratic reform in Syria at the internationally respected Indian think tank, the United Services Institution (USI), to an audience of former and serving armed forces officers, policy analysts and diplomats.The talk was chaired by former Ambassador M K Rasgotra, a former Foreign Secretary. Also present were Lt. General (Retd) P.K. Singh (Director of USI), Maj Gen PJS Sandhu (Deputy Director & Editor USI), Maj Gen YK Gera (Consultant Research USI), Ambassador KC Singh, Ambassador SK Bhutani and Dr VK Singh. The speech was well received and concluded with a comprehensive Q & A Session.

The USI is a unique institution with unequalled expertise in the field of national security and matters pertaining to defence services. It has built an outstanding reputation over the last 140 years.
