Today Ribal Al-Assad, Director of ODFS spoke on LBC Radio against the arming of Rebels in Syria.

Speaking to LBC's Iain Dale, Ribal stated in response to the suggestion of France and the U.K. arming the rebel army:

"We should not arm any sides, I have been calling from the beginning that the only solution is a political one. We first of all need to know who the Free Syrian Army are... we have to be very careful, there are a lot of foreign extremists coming from Saudi Arabia and Chechnya who are brining weapons into rebel hands"
